My dog got sick about a week ago. he ate chicken liver which was little greasy which made him vomit until got a white foam. We fasted him for about 16 hours then we gave him boiled chicken without oil and seasoning. he was getting better but still his stool was little watery than normal. then yesterday he ate 4 small chops of liver again. he was totally normal, i walked him he was fine. Today, he pooped 4 time diarrhoea first was black, and last was full of mucus and threw up white foam.

Hi there. I would recommend having San seen by your vet. With diarrhea that hasn't resolved, he may need medication to stop the diarrhea. I would also recommend discontinuing feeding him liver. It sounds like his digestive system cannot tolerate liver well, and keeping him on a normal diet of a quality dog food will be easier on his system. There are several good sensitive digestion diets available which can help prevent future GI issues. I hope that helps. Thanks for using PetCoach.
