Thank you for submitting your question regarding Pattie. Prednisolone is commonly used to treat skin conditions. So it is unlikely that the drug is responsible for her new lesions. She will need to see her veterinarian when you are able to take her. She could be experiencing an allergy, stress or a variety of other issues affecting her skin. If she will tolerate bathing, then a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as an oatmeal or fatty acid based formula can soothe the skin. Place an E-collar on her so that she cannot cause any further self trauma. I hope this information helps!
