My dogs left eye has recently turned a bluish color. She is still eating and drinking like normal. However you can tell she’s uncomfortable as she moves around a lot when she lays down looking for the right spot. I gave her a Benadryl as this has helped her in the past with skin irritations. Please advise what else I can do or tell me what this means. She’s not panting.. or scratching.. so I’m not sure if this is something serious or just a reaction. I look forward to your feedback. Thank you!

Hello. Bella has a very significant inflammatory reaction in her eye. The general term is uveitis. She really needs to see a veterinarian because 1. she is in pain. 2. without treatment, she may suffer permanent eye damage, blindness or even total loss of the eye. You should have her seen by your veterinarian as soon as possible. I do hope she is doing better soon & thanks for contacting PetCoach.
