I NEED AN ALTERNATIVE TO RICE. On the 14th of June my 2 year old female Chihuahua was diagnosed with pancreatitis. She was sent home with 7 days worth of CLAVAMOX chewables and has since finished them. The vet told me she could go back on Iams if not vomiting but she vomited that you yesterday. I have no problem cooking for her until she is better but I need another option. She loves the boiled chicken but spits the rice out. What can I give her in place of rice? Pasta or potatoes maybe?

Thank you for contacting PetCoach with your question about Fiona. If she won't eat rice, plain pasta is fine. Whole wheat pasta would be good but if she won't eat that, regular pasta will be good for her. I hope this helps!
