My cat was laying on me, and got some .05% Desonide ointment on his fur. It was not a lot, and he has not licked it yet. I am afraid that when he does lick it off, it will be harmful to him. Is this poisonous?

Thank you for contacting Petcoach with your question about Chandler. This won't be good for him to ingest, it's a mild corticosteroid, but it's not hugely toxic to him. I would wipe it off of him with a damp cloth to keep it him from licking it. I hope this helps!
