I have a puppy (beagle) who's had trouble house training but seemed to have it down enough in the past 2 weeks that I could trust him for short periods without accidents. This weekend we went camping and since we got back last night he's peed in the house 3 times. He also has an insect bite near his groin - it looks like black fly bite. I really don't think it's tick. Also ruled out ringworm. Could that be the reason for his regression or the change of environment maybe?

Thank you for contacting Petcoach with your question about Sugarbone and for providing a picture, it's very helpful. I agree, that does look like a black fly bite. I'm actually wondering if he has a medical problem like a UTI. A UTI would certainly cause him to have accidents in the house. I recommend taking him into the vet. The vet can do blood work and a urinalysis to diagnose if he does have a UTI or not. If he does, the vet can prescribe medication to treat it. Give his vet a call now to make him an appointment. I hope this helps!
