My kitten is balding, she eats normal is energetic and loud. However her hair on the top of her head is patchy. She is going to the vet next week.

This could be ringworm causing the baldness. Ringworm is highly contagious, so if the vet does diagnose Toast as having it, you will have to treat all the other animals in the home. Keep an eye out on yourself and your family, as it's contagious to humans. Having her seen by a vet next week is a good idea. Until then, avoid touching the area. I hope this helps.
