Legally, we are prohibited from telling you to medicate your cat, even with OTC medication, in the absence of a physical exam and a VPCR (Veterinarian-Patient-Client Relationship). If Cami is behaving normally otherwise, you can try a 12-24 hour fast. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte during this fast. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until the stool is normal. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. If the diarrhea persists or if Cami develops vomiting, lethargy, loss of appetite or abdominal pain, then she should be seen by your veterinarian.
