Yesterday, I rescued 2, 5 week old kittens. They've been eating but are not peeing and pooping. Is that normal since we just rescued them yesterday or do I need to make an appointment with the vet.

After you feed them or after they eat, use a moist cotton ball and gently circle their back ends to stimulate urination and defecation. It is possible they are younger than 5 weeks of age if they have not yet begun to eliminate on their own. Typically, the mother would lick their back ends after nursing to stimulate elimination. If you cannot get them to go, then have them physically examined by your veterinarian.
