My dog has a swelling between his neck and mouth. I consulted a veterinarian and he diagnosed it as an infection without even touching it but internet search suggest it as a type of cancer. There is no pain in it but swelling has doubled in last 2 days and right it's also bleeding externally. There is no sign of fatigue and he is as playful as he was. Please help.

Poor Bruno! I'm sorry to hear that he's having this problem. Without being able to examine him in person, there's really no way for me to say what might be causing the swelling. But if you're concerned, I would recommend asking your veterinarian about doing a fine needle aspirate (FNA) or biopsy of the affected area - this is often the only way to get a definitive answer as to what's going on with a mass or localized swollen area.
