My cat has just had her first litter of kittens. She gave birth to 5 but the last one was stillborn. My question is how can I make sure that she's gotten them all out? I just don't want one to still be stuck in her. She seems calm and just resting now. It's been about an hour and a half.

Hello. You can gently squeeze her abdomen working your way back from just behind the ribs toward her hind legs. If you do not feel any significant lumps, then she is done. Since she had no difficulties with the first ones, it is unlikely anyone was left behind. But if you do get concerned, the best is to have her evaluated by your veterinarian.
