Hello, i have a male cat of 2 years that has been diagnosed with epilepsy a week ago, and has been given fitobarbitrate to take for the rest of his life twice a day, i was wondering if there is possibility that in time the therapy reduces to once a day at least? Thank you! Here is a picture of him just for you to see his cuteness.:)

Anything is possible so I will not say that could never happen, but it is not likely. The way that medication is metabolized in the body it needs to be given twice a day to have the desired effect. The overall dosage may be able to be dropped but he would still need it twice a day. Sorry he has this issue and I agree, he is very handsome!
