I’m not entirely sure what this might be - perhaps you are feeling a normal part of your kitten’s anatomy. Soft spots can be on the head near the top but should be closed at your kittens age. I suppose your kitten could have some kind of growth that is making it feel like there is a hole under the skin. Your kitten is probably due for the last round of vaccines soon - I’d recommend bringing it up with your vet at that time.
