I hate to hear that Picasso is sick. Your veterinarian is suspecting Panleukopenia because his white blood cell count is so long. Other immune suppressive viruses like Felv/FIV or a severe systemic infection like septicemia could also cause such low white blood cells. All of these conditions are serious. Here are some links with good information about the various conditions: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-panleukopenia https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-leukemia-virus-disease-complex https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-infection Testing for each condition may be available but you will need to check with your vet. Make sure Picasso is getting to supportive care he needs. I hope this helps and that he feels better quickly. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
