Hello, I was playing with my puppy and I threw a toy in his direction as he was about 5-7 feet in front of me. I accidentally threw it too close to him and it hit his eye. It was a rubbery toy with a rope attached and the hard rubbery part hit him in the eye. He woke up this morning and his eye is open, it seemed potentially a little puffy and there was a bit more eye gunk around it than normal. I plan to let it be for another day or so and see if it is okay but wanted to get another opinion.

Poor Milo. Given that his eye is a bit puffy and there is some discharge, I don't think it's best to wait another day. Any eye problem should be checked out promptly by a vet. I'd take him into a vet today.
