hi, first of all i know this is a part of my fault.leo is not fixed and jelly is in heat.things get too hard.they are different breed so i gave them no chance.thinking of fixing leo this week.jelly will probably be still in heat.will fixing make him less "trying-to-mate"?will it calm his hormones?they are in same household, but on different floors. even after fixing, will he try to mount females when it's the time? thanks

Hello, by castrating Leo he will no longer produce testosterone which is the hormone that stimulates sexual activity. Rarely, some dogs will still have mounting behaviors despite being neutered. You may also consider spaying your female to then likely resolve all of these behaviors. Hope this helps and best of luck
