Infection (bacterial, fungal or parasites), allergies or even endocrine disorders can result in hair loss. Have Fuzzy seen by your veterinarian to diagnose and treat the underlying cause. In the meantime, place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent scratching or rubbing until he sees the doctor.
