Ragdoll kitten born with one kidney. No obvious signs from outside and otherwise is healthy. Any idea how long it might be before she starts showing signs of illness? If any? Insurance says she needs to be 3 months advice free before they can cover her and her cover will increase yearly if no claims are made for kidney issues so just need a rough idea please.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to know how long it will be before a pet starts having issues with 1 kidney. Problems may never arise. So you will have to just see how she does. Hopefully she doesn't have any problems and she can get on insurance to cover most of her needs going forward. Best of luck and take care. : )
