I just rescued this guy today. I have no history on him. I’m taking him to my vet this weekend to get him checked out and vaccinated. He’s still a puppy with puppy teeth and huge paws. I’ve had him for about six hours and he’s only peed once so far. He’s drank quite a bit of water for him to only pee once. He’s also breathing fast but it’s not labored. Should I be concerned about that? He gets along great with my other dog and my cat. He doesn’t like being away from me but he also doesn’t listen

How lovely of you to take Reggie in! He may be stressed, and that can cause the fast breathing. Moving into a new home is stressful. It's a good idea to have him seen by a vet on Saturday, but if his breathing does become labored before then, rush him into a vet right away.
