Hello. My cat had cat flu when I adopted her from the RSPCA shelter. She was recovered when I adopted her, but the vets warned me that cat flu will reoccur. My parents have adopted two new cats (8 months) and i would like to give them toys and pet beds that my cat doesn’t warm to. Would contact with these toys and bedding risk the cats health? Could they contract cat flu from my cat, even is she is currently in good health? Kind regards Laura

Hi Laura. Good question. Flu viruses don't live that long after being off the host, so if you can put the items in your car and leave them there for about a week you can then give them to your family with no worries.
