Hello, I have a papillon, 8 years old and she seems to have stomach issues on an average of every month. Seems to be gas and or diarrhea. Is this common in this breed? What can I do to help her?

It's not common and there is likely an underlying cause. I recommend to start with an exam with the veterinarian. Have her checked for worms and giardia. If it's been a while since she's had bloodwork., the vet may want to check this as well. Sometimes a low residue diet like Royal Canin can help. Some of these pets will need prescription diets for IBD. Sometimes probiotics one a weekly basis can also help. I hope this helps.
