My 6 lb dog accidentally ate 81 mg aspirin about an hour ago. She seems fine but do I need to do anything?

She did eat a higher dose than recommended (10mg per pound of body weight at the highest, so 60mg) but after 1 hour, the aspirin has already been absorbed by her system . Of course, you can take her to the vet now if you are very worried. After examining her they could probably council you better. If you choose to just monitor her, watch her closely for any signs of illness and if you notice anything abnormal get her to a vet immediately. Here is a link to an article about aspirin usage in dogs/cats and side effects to watch for.
