Dog has a lesion if some sort near his nose. He’s a digger, so I figured at first he got bit by something but now I’m thinking it’s ringworm. He’s keeping it nice and clean by licking but it’s not crusting over. (Yet?) I realize he may need to be seen and a culture be done but I’m wondering if I should get started by confining and cleaning like crazy. Would OTC treatments work?

This actually looks more like a histiocytoma to me. Usually they will regress on their own with no treatment. Here is a link to an article about this condition. https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952066
