Hi! My rabbit tore his toenail off today and In my haste I’m not sure which ointment I used on his wound. He kicked off the bandage I put and licked off the remaining ointment. I read online that neosporin plus can cause heart failure in rabbits so now I’m concerned. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do now?

There is not anything you can do at this point. Just monitor him and if he acts ill at any time then he should see a vet. If the nail is an open wound and bleeding it needs to stay bandaged to keep it from getting dirty. For future reference, you can use this for any injuries: https://www.allivet.com/p-2860-vetericyn-plus-antimicrobial-hydrogel-spray.aspx
