I took on a rescue cat in January 2020. She is nine. She had been left in the street after her owner had died and she had been attacked badly including puncture marks at her throat, belly and other sporadic bites. She was with Cats Protection from late Nov 2019 until 3rd of January when I adopted her. She has been fine and settled relatively quickly, Recently, she has appeared to have nightmares flayling her legs in the air (on her back) as tho' she's fighting off an attack. Nightmare ? Or fit?

If you can wake her up when this occurs and she seems normal then this is probably a nightmare or dream. If you attempt to wake her and it doesn't stop I'd be concerned that this might be seizure activity. If it seems a seizure is more likely I'd recommend making an appointment to see your vet.
