My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and small intestinal dysbiosis a couple weeks ago. He was put on low fat food and Tylan powder at that time. He is getting a massage this weekend and they use essential oils on the skin, inhalation, and through ingestion. I am wondering if there are any specific essential oils or kinds that we should avoid that might interact with the Tylan powder?

I'm not aware of any essential oils that would interact with Tylan powder. Dogs can be sensitive to topical essential oils so you may want to be cautious with their use. I personally wonder what it is like for an animal with such a sensitive sense of smell to experience essential oils - this might be more fun for people than pets.
