I brought my cat to the vet for vomiting. He was given DiaGel for small dogs (1-30 pounds). I got 0.2 mL into his mouth which he spit most of it out and then started drooling right after and didn’t stop for about 5 minutes. Can cats have Diagel for dogs? I was looking into some of the ingredients and became concerned when I read that some were toxic to cats

Thank you for contacting PetCoach with your question about Pascal. I'm sorry he's sick! DiaGel can be used in cats, and this may be an off label use of the product. If you have some concerns about, which I understand, don't use it and give your vet a call. Based on the ingredients, it looks to be a holistic product, not a prescription one. I hope this helps!
