This can be a sign of pica, and it is bad for Mochi to do. It can cause an obstruction. Pica is a symptom of an underlying disease such as FIV, hyperthyroidism, anemia, feline leukemia, dental disease, diabetes, and others. I'd have her seen by a vet for this behavior. I hope this helps!
