My dog was throwing up so I put him on a diet of plain rice and chicken for a couple days. He was fine for the first couple of days. He threw up today his dinner from last night and hasn’t even touched his breakfast. He’s not lethargic and isn’t acting abnormally. With the current state of things I don’t think we will be able to get him to a vet. What should we do? Is he alright ? Please let us know. The only thing different was that he ate a dental stick.

If only Reign could talk! I am concerned that whatever was making him sick is still continuing. I recommend to offer the bland diet of chicken and rice again. I also recommend to call your veterinarian to figure out your options. Your vet likely has COVID protocols in place to protect themselves and the staff. Continued issues could mean many things that could range from parasites (including giardia) to a foreign object blocking the outflow tract in his stomach. Your vet can help you to figure out the best plan of action for Reign. I hope this helps.
