How can I help my dog overcome motion-sickness? There hasn’t been a time she hasn’t thrown up in the car, and she dislikes gettting into it. I’ve tried taking her out on an empty stomach, but she will still throw up, and if she eats a meal, she still throws up. She drools as well too. She sticks her head out of the window the entire time, but still throws up in the car, and most of the time, she throws up outside of the car. She is 2 years old, and I thought only puppies had this problem.

Some puppies do outgrow motion sickness but, of course, some do not. The best medication for this is Cerenia. She would need 2 tablets of the 24mg about 2 hours prior to travel - give with a small meal. The effects last for 24 hours. It works amazingly well. This will be your best bet.

Hope this helps. Best wishes!
