I moved a mile away from my apartment today. Kiki took the move well but Ramone was screaming bloody murder in the carrier. We moved them last and have them in the bedroom. He’d hidden under my dresser for the first two hours but now he jumped under the covers and is little spooning with me. His breathing is very fast but he seems to be sleeping and cuddling with me. he was panting toward the end of the car ride for a total of 8 seconds. I’m worried.

Thank you for contacting PetCoach with your question about Ramone. I get why you are worried about him. Moving is very stressful on a cat, and and it sounds like he's showing signs of stress. I would not be too worried given that he's now sleeping. He should adjust and calm down. I'd just keep an eye on him for now. Best of luck.
