My dog got spayed today and she is starting to hurt. I was wondering If I could give her a tylenol or ibuprofen or aspirin for something to help her until the vet opens in the morning

Thank you for contacting PetCoach with your question about Luna. Please do not give any of those to her! Ibuprofen is highly toxic to dogs, and even one 200mg pill tablet is enough to cause damage to internal organs in your dog. Tylenol and aspirin are both toxic. If she is in pain, unfortunately there are no OTC pain medications you can give her. Should she appear to be in severe pain, I'd take her into an ER vet now. Otherwise, keep her confined to limit her movement, and keep her as comfortable as possible until you get her into the vet in the morning. Best of luck.
