My son poked my dog in her eye nearly a month ago. She has been treated by our vet with 2 eye drops- ofloaxin and corneal repair gel. I thought it was getting better and she had a painful dental so I had cut back on the amount of drops. Over the past couple of days she is pawing it again and it’s watering. Should I go back to the regular drops? It has been 4 weeks since the initial injury.

Thank you for contacting PetCoach with your question about Chloe. If she is pawing at her eye, I'd take her back into the vet before starting the eye drops again. You need to make sure there isn't a problem with her cornea like an ulcer before using any medication. I'd take her into the vet today. Best of luck.
