Hi I have a female cat, 4 yrs old who has been diagnosed with megacolon and has been constipated her whole life. She has received one enema under sedation and two water / lactulose enemas over the past month. Her appetite isn't the same, she used to eat a lot. She was prescribed with Hill's Diet W/D but refuses to eat it. What is the best cat food to manage her megacolon? I'm also giving her 2 ml of lactulose a day when she doesn't move her bowels. Any other suggestions to help her? Thank you!

Hello and thank you for contacting PetCoach. Feeding high fibre food is the key in managing megacolon. Please, try Royal Canin Fibre Response - it is a very good diet that hopefully will be more tasty for Yzma than Hill's.
