Hello and thank you for contacting PetCoach. It is either an allergic reaction or a growing abscess. If the swelling is hot and painful to touch, it is probably an abscess. In this case, you should take Angie to your local vets for an appointment today. If the swelling is not bothering your puppy, is soft and is not warm to touch, it could be an allergic reaction. In that case, you can monitor Angie at home for a few hours and apply a cold compress on the face every 1-2 hrs. If it is an allergy, the swelling should go down in the next 5-6 hrs.
