Hey my cat is pregnant and we’re out of town(she is with us) but we had to stay later than we expected, is it safe to bring her back (3 1/2 hour drive) while she’s very close to her due date or wait till the kittens are out and wait a couple days. She’s not horrible In cars but definitely gets stressed/ cautious in the car

Hello and thank you for contacting PetCoach. If it is possible to avoid the car journey, it will be definitely the safest option. Prolonged stress like this can trigger premature labor and dystocia in cats. Ideally, Bella should be allowed to have kittens where she is.
